Andrew Wiggins’ Instagram Post After Being Traded To The Warriors

1 Min Read

The Minnesota Timberwolves made a big move when they sent Andrew Wiggins, a 2021 protected first-round pick and a 2021 second-round pick to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for D’Angelo Russell. Jacob Evans and Omari Spellman will also head to Minnesota as part of the blockbuster deal.

D’Lo is finally reuniting with Karl-Anthony Towns, but he’s not the only one happy with this move. In fact, Wiggins displayed all his excitement for the new chapter in his career. The 25-year-old posted an Instagram story with Drake yelling ‘Yay Area’, referring to the zone where the Dubs play.

This season Wiggins is averaging 22.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. His game has improved this year, but it remains to be seen if the Warriors are that interested in him and his contract.
