Anthony Edwards Responds To Draymond Green Laughing At The Timberwolves’ Championship Aspirations: “Haha, You Know Draymond A Fool, Man.”

Anthony Edwards is a young superstar that many are expecting to be the next player to make a big leap. The Minnesota Timberwolves have improved every season since they drafted Edwards, and now they finally have a team that can be competitive. With D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns already on the team, the addition of Rudy Gobert is supposed to take them to the next level.

Karl-Anthony Towns went on record to say that this is a championship or bust season for the Wolves. While the team has every right to believe that, he did get trolled for it a little bit. And one of the people to react funnily to his statement was Warriors star Draymond Green, who simply reacted to the sentiment with laughing emojis.

In a recent interview with Complex, Edwards was asked about Green’s response to his teammate’s take, and true to his nature, Edwards also brushed it off.

“Nah, I didn’t see it. Haha, you know Draymond a fool man. He’s gonna put his two cents on anybody’s comment.”

Edwards did admit that the pressure is definitely on the team to perform at the business end of the season, agreeing with Towns’ sentiment.

“Adding Rudy puts that pressure on us. I agree with that.”

The Wolves are sure to become an excellent regular season team, their existing offense with Gobert’s rim protection could make them an extremely balanced outfit. But a lot depends on the players who need to perform to the level they have shown to be capable of.

Edwards remains arguably the biggest X-factor for the team, though. He has averaged 20 points per game over his 2 NBA seasons so far, and if he can pump those numbers up on good efficiency, it’s hard to see anyone being able to stop the Timberwolves.
