Nikola Jokic has had an outstanding year with the Denver Nuggets, one that has made him an MVP candidate for the season. His co-star Jamal Murray suffered a devastating injury during the regular season, leaving the fate of the Denver Nuggets in Nikola Jokic’s hands. He hasn’t disappointed thus far: he brought them to the playoffs, and he managed to beat the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round, despite the best efforts of Damian Lillard.
It has recently been revealed that Nikola Jokic is now the official MVP of the NBA for the 2020-21 season. It is an achievement well deserved, and perhaps he will be able to show his MVP caliber play in the series against the Phoenix Suns.

There is no doubt that this is an amazing achievement for the Serbian big man. Nikola Jokic was a second-round pick and has become the lowest-drafted player to win the MVP award, which just shows how talented he is. Hopefully, we are able to see his MVP-caliber play for years to come.
