Tyler Herro has been a key part of the Miami Heat’s push for a championship this season. He has been their second-leading scorer during the regular season, and his ability to get points off the bench has been well-documented. During the regular season, Tyler Herro averaged 20.7 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and 4.0 APG.

Shams Charania has recently announced that Tyler Herro has won the 2021-22 Sixth Man of the Year award. Based on his production, he clearly deserved to win the award, though there were certainly other players that were deserving.

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro has won the 2021-22 NBA Sixth Man of the Year award.

Hopefully, Tyler Herro is able to continue to show the same level of play during the playoffs as he did during the regular season. He was inconsistent in the first round but has recently put up 25 points against the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1. There’s no doubt that the Miami Heat will need more of that from him if they are to get back to the NBA Finals.

It remains to be seen how far the Miami Heat will get in the playoffs this year. Hopefully, we see them get back to the Finals, and perhaps this is the year they win a championship.
