Brian Windhorst Says NBA Executives Worried That ‘Orlando Four’ Superteam Could Emerge In The Next Few Years

No matter how good it feels to have the NBA back in action, the circumstances of its return have created a unique situation for the teams and players involved.

Being confined in the Orlando “bubble,” a lot of superstar players who are normally barely around are suddenly seeing each other all the time and the NBA, who is normally strict on enforcing tampering violations, has no way to really track and control what is going on between players during quarantine.

All of this has led to a lot of speculation, and ESPN’s Brian Windhorst pointed out how some executives have become inclined to believe a superteam might be in the works as a result.

Brian Windhorst says multiple agents and executives are concerned about a potential ‘Orlando Four’ super team forming in the next couple years

With all of these players talking to each other, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that some of them could end up teaming.

It happened with the Heat in 2010, with the Warriors and Kevin Durant in 2016, and with Kawhi and Paul George on the Clippers just last summer.

With his free-agency closing in, Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the target of many teams, and what happens in this Orlando bubble could very well have an impact on where he goes and it’s got NBA GM’s shaking in their boot
