NBA insider and analyst Brian Windhorst made a bold proclamation about Sacramento Kings’ superstar De’Aaron Fox calling him the next big superstar in the NBA.

“America, I want you to look at your next NBA superstar,” Windhorst said in Thursday’s edition of First Take. “He’s developing right in front of your eyes. De’Aaron Fox from the Sacramento Kings.”

He further added: “De’Aaron Fox has developed a killer way to finish games because he gets to his spots with speed. And it’s not just running so fast and outrunning everybody.”

“Teams have been setting their defense to try to stop this guy in the fourth quarter for months now. And they cannot do it because he is so fast and can stop so fast. De’Aaron Fox is a superstar in this league. Here he comes.”

The guard has been on a tear throughout the season, averaging 25.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.1 assists. His clutch heroics have already seen him get household recognition, and now Windhorst’s claim further gives him nationwide acclaim.

Fox’s stocks will surely rise if he and the Kings managed to send the Golden State Warriors packing in the first round of the playoffs. He has already been named the league’s Clutch Player. And he’s far from done.

Former Kings Star Picks De’Aaron Fox As The Best Player In The Kings vs. Warriors Series

De’Aaron Fox’s playoff run has been so impressive that he even garnered praise from Stephen Curry. The accolades didn’t stop there as he drew lavish plaudits from former Sacramento star Mike Bibby.

“I think he (Fox) is the best (player) in this series and it’s showing,” Bibby said on The Carton Show. “If he keeps going the way he is, I have (the Kings) going to the (NBA) Finals.”

Golden State will have a tough challenge to keep Fox quiet. While they may have kept their playoff hopes alive with a 114-97 win against the Kings, they couldn’t contain Fox who had 26 points to his name.

The two teams will face off in a pivotal Game 4 at the Chase Center. And they will have to stop Fox again if they intend to make it two in two.
