Charles Barkley is one of the most entertaining men on television, and basketball fans are lucky to have him talk about the NBA once a week on TNT.

Even though fans often criticize Barkley’s knowledge of the current game, nobody can say they weren’t entertained by Barkley after watching even one segment of Inside the NBA. He constantly drops hilarious gems at moments when fans least expect them.

While talking about the game between the Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets last night, Kenny Smith was about to tell the panel what the 2022-23 Chicago Bulls were missing amidst their struggles before Barkley interrupted him and started naming legends of the squad like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen

The Bulls would definitely be way better off than 26-29 and the 9th seed if they still had their old legends on the squad. With the trade deadline having expired, the Bulls have made the decision to continue competing this season and not trade Zach LaVine or DeMar DeRozan away.

Can The Bulls Turn Their Season Around?

The Bulls were among the very few teams that made no moves before the deadline, ensuring they stand pat with their currently underachieving roster. That means they’re relying on an on-court change of form to keep themselves relevant in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

It is extremely unlikely that Lonzo Ball returns from injury this season, meaning the Bulls will probably not have his services anytime soon. As a result, they’re looking at possibly enticing Russell Westbrook on the buyout market for a half-season stint with their franchise.

The Bulls owe their 2023 first-round pick to the Orlando Magic, so being in the lottery might be a disaster for the franchise. They need to climb up the standings or give up another lottery pick to Orlando, with the first time they did so leading to Orlando drafting Franz Wagner in 2021.
