Charles Barkley recently responded to 26 questions that he had never been asked before on the YouTube channel Broadcast Boys with Lucas Brody. The segment provided some insightful and humorous moments as Barkley tackled a variety of topics with his characteristic candor. Here are the top 10 questions and his responses:

Q1. Lucas Brody: “Who’s had more grand slams throughout their career? Alex Rodriguez, Novak Djokovic, or Charles Barkley at Denny’s?”

Charles Barkley: “Charles Barkley’s at Denny’s. Denny’s and Waffle House are national institutions. I think Novak got 24, 25.”

Q2. Lucas Brody: “Would you rather live in a mansion in Galveston, Texas or a small studio apartment in New York City?”

Charles Barkley: “Boy, that’s a really tricky question. Cause New York is cluttered, cold, crime. A mansion in Galveston. I can do without the beach. Warm weather than a mansion, I’m gonna go with Galveston.”

Q3. Lucas Brody: “If you had to pick one celebrity for Ernie Johnson to knock out in a boxing bout, who would it be and why?”

Charles Barkley: “Oh, Shaquille O’Neal, that’s an easy one.”

Q4. Lucas Brody: “What’s a more despicable sight? Your former golf swing or Skip Bayless’ jump shot?”

Charles Barkley: “You know, he’s not one of my favorite people.”

Q5. Lucas Brody: “Would you rather be trapped in a steam room with a Dalai Lama or a sauna with Madonna?”

Charles Barkley: “Dalai Lama. Just to spread wisdom, you know, I can learn something. Anytime you’re going to be around greatness, you can learn something.”

Q6. Lucas Brody: “And Madonna’s not great?”

Charles Barkley: “She is a great entertainer.”

Q7. Lucas Brody: “What’s more likely, 20 players from the NFL making the NBA or 20 players from the NBA making the NFL?”

Charles Barkley: “You’re just assuming somebody because they got talent, they can do another sport. Yeah, there’s going to be a few exceptions. Most basketball players can’t play football and there’s probably a couple football players that could make the NBA, but to answer your question, NBA.”

Q8. Lucas Brody: “What’s something currently outlawed that you think should be legalized?”

Charles Barkley: “A Death sentence.”

Q9. Lucas Brody: “After a grueling NBA postseason, you get to kick back, take a jacuzzi if that’s what you do, and you get to watch your comfort show or movie. What are you putting on?”

Charles Barkley: “Django Unchained, My Cousin Vinny, Con Air, Face Off, Anytime those movies are on, I’m going to stop whatever I’m watching and go.”

Brody then asked about some of Barkley’s previous quotes and asked if he still stands by them.

Q10. Lucas Brody: “If a guy drew a charge on me, I’d try to kick him in the balls.”

Charles Barkley: “I would say, if you’re going to draw a charge, I’m going to use all six of my fouls to make you not think about doing that again.”

Charles Barkley’s responses on the Broadcast Boys’ show highlight his trademark humor, bluntness, and unique perspective on a wide range of topics. From his playful take on grand slams at Denny’s to his controversial stance on the death sentence, Barkley’s answers reflect his unfiltered and candid personality.

His preference for wisdom from the Dalai Lama over the company of Madonna and his belief in the toughness of NBA players transitioning to the NFL showcase his distinct outlook. Overall, Barkley remains an entertaining and thought-provoking figure, unafraid to speak his mind and stand by his opinions, no matter how unconventional they might be.
