Chris Paul was one of the hottest topics in the NBA a couple of days ago and not precisely for the best reasons, but now he’s making headlines after reaching another milestone in his life.

CP3 just beat the Los Angeles Clippers last night, posting a double-double with 15 points, 13 assists, and 7 rebounds. The veteran point guard keeps adding accolades to his life and today marked another one.

Several years after leaving Winston-Salem State University to go to the NBA, where he’s become one of the greatest point guards in the game (although DeMarcus Cousins disagrees), Paul has finally graduated, attending a big ceremony and looking really happy with this.

Chris Paul Has Incredible Gesture With Fellow Grads After He Gets His Degree From Winston-Salem State University

Marc J. Spears of Andscape shared a series of tweets with info about this big day. Spears reports that CP3 is gifting $2,500 to every graduate in this class. This is a classy act from the Phoenix Suns superstar, who has never hesitated to show how proud he is of this university and everything it did for him.

Here is more detail: Chris Paul is helping each WSSU graduate fund their Greenwood account by depositing $100 in the account and covering the $200 per month membership for ELEVATE for a full year. In total, this is a $2,500 value for each WSU December 2022 graduate.

It’s always great to see our favorite players do these things, and even though CP3 receives plenty of hate often, you have to respect the man and what he’s doing.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns rank 4th in the West after beating Paul’s former team, the Clippers. They want to return to the Finals after a disappointing collapse in the 2022 NBA playoff, and Paul knows he’s crucial for that. Devin Booker is balling right now, but they need their two best players focused and ready to compete for a championship again.
