Davis Bertans wasn’t happy with Evan Fournier calling out players for sitting out for the remainder of the season. Bertans was one of the first NBA players who announced his decision, which raised a lot of eyebrows around the league.
One of his colleagues had some harsh words towards him and any player that won’t go to Orlando to play next month. Bertans is in for a big deal next season and he’s trying to avoid getting injured, which would damage his plans to get paid big time.
Fournier disagrees with that attitude and he sent a message on Twitter, claiming that is the problem with the current NBA, players who decide not to play and just watch his teammates do all the work.
“Seriously tho. If you think its ok to sit and watch your teammates play while you re perfectly healthy its says a lot about you. ♂️ ♂️,” he wrote.

Well, Bertans wasn’t having any of that and he replied to Fournier, asking him to tag him next time he thinks about mentioning him.

Bertans is reportedly trying to take care of his body and the Wizards don’t have any problem with that. Next time they might have a better chance to make the playoffs and they’ll need all their pieces to compete in the Eastern Conference.
