Devin Booker Hilariously Responded To Hornets Fan Who Wanted The Ball Stolen From Him: “Can’t Nobody Take It”

Devin Booker has realized his potential and become one of the best scorers in the entire NBA over the last couple of years. Booker led his Suns team to the NBA Finals last season alongside Chris Paul and they currently boast the 2nd best record in the entire league as well.

Booker has always been a confident player but he enjoyed an epic moment with a Charlotte Hornets fan who was sitting courtside on Sunday as the Hornets got blown out by the Suns. Bleacher Report shared a video of the hilarious exchange and it’s evident that Booker was feeling himself at that moment.

Booker was bringing up the ball while being guarded by Cody Martin when the fan decided to hype up Martin. The Suns called a timeout and Booker shot the ball before turning around and hitting the Hornets fan with a one-liner.

Hornets fan: “Take that, Cody, Take that.”

Devin Booker: “Can’t nobody take it.”

The fans found it funny as well, with all the people in the area chuckling. Booker backed up his talk though, by dropping 24 points on the night to go along with 7 rebounds in the Suns win. He did that while playing just 28 minutes in the game as the Suns went up 26 points by half-time, effectively ending the game as a contest.

Booker is averaging 23 points on the season, playing in a very well balanced team that has contributions coming in from across the floor. The win took the Suns to a 28-8 record as they continue to chase the Golden State Warriors who are the 1st seed in the Western Conference standings.

Devin Booker and Chris Paul are both likely to be All-Stars this campaign and the Suns look primed to make another run deep into the playoffs. If they do make it all the way, one can expect Booker’s confidence to keep growing as he continues to grow in stature.
