DJ Akademiks Says Ja Morant Should've Gone To Military: "That Might Be A Natural Talent Of His"
The NBA community has gotten used to Ja Morant's wild behavior off the court. The Memphis Grizzlies superstar will serve a 25-game suspension in the 2023-24 NBA season for his gun-related controversies.
But it seems Morant's unprofessional behavior has leaped the boundaries of the league. DJ Akademiks recently called out Ja Morant for getting drafted into the league. Akademiks shared that Morant should have gone to the military in a recent interview with Vlad TV.
"We need him in the military," Akademiks joked. "That boy went to the wrong draft, okay? They talking about drafting for the NBA? They need to bring back the draft that puts him in the military. That might be a natural talent of his."
He added: "His idea of being cool is playing and waving around guns. That's all it is. He has an obsession with the image that rappers portray."

Akademiks' proposal made Vlad laugh uncontrollably. He loved the idea in light of how Morant has been living his life until now.
With Morant missing the first 25 games of the upcoming season, it will be interesting to see if he can finally get back on track and focus primarily on playing basketball.
DJ Akademiks Called Ja Morant Stupid For Losing $40 Million Due To His Obsession With NBA YoungBoy
Ja Morant is all set to lose a substantial amount of money due to suspensions and missing out on All-NBA selection due to his off-court antics last season.
Sure, Morant still has a hefty contract worth $197 million over five years. But Akademiks believes Morant was stupid to lose $40 million trying to be like NBA YoungBoy.
"Let me tell you how stupid Ja Morant is,” DJ Akademiks said. “NBA YoungBoy’s new contract is like $40 million to record like five albums. You lost $40 million trying to be like NBA YoungBoy.
"He’d need to record like five albums just to get the money you just lost. Here’s my thing, you love NBA YoungBoy so much, bro, just book him to do a concert at your crib, or you go to his crib."
Morant will turn 24 years old later this year, so he practically has his whole career ahead of him. He can become a successful NBA superstar who dominates the league for multiple years.
But for that to happen, Ja needs to change the way he lives off the court. Morant needs veteran membership in the upcoming season.
