Donte DiVincenzo has had a tough season this year after establishing himself as a solid shooter and good perimeter defender during the 2020-21 season. There is no doubt that he is looking for a place where his skillset is needed, and it seems as though he has found it.

The Golden State Warriors and Donte DiVincenzo have recently agreed to a 2-year, $9.3 million deal. DiVincenzo would have the ability to decline his player option and become a free agent again next season.

There is no doubt that the Warriors could potentially be a solid destination for Donte DiVincenzo. They are obviously a team that highly values 3PT shooting and off-ball movement, and he would get plenty of open looks from Stephen Curry’s offensive gravity. Perhaps he could end up signing a lucrative contract with them or another team in the future after rebuilding his value.

Otto Porter Jr. and Gary Payton II both left the Warriors for other franchises, and this seems to be an attempt from the Warriors to replenish their depth. Hopefully, Donte DiVincenzo finds success with the team and helps them in their pursuit of another championship.
