As one of the most naturally gifted players in basketball, it can be hard to find the words to describe Kyrie Irving’s game.

In a Sunday afternoon Tweet, Warriors star Draymond Green gave it his best shot anyway.

After watching Uncle Drew go off for 35 points, the 3x Champion lauded Irving’s offensive prowess.

Kyrie is a big man, in a guard body. With the craziest handle and a torch. Don’t let that go over y’all head.

When it comes to putting the ball through the net, not many in basketball history are at Kyrie’s level. As a quick offensive guard with impeccable handles and an incredible shooting stroke, he can score in a multitude of ways and is almost impossible to stop with the ball in his hands. He can even score in the post, which is probably why Draymond compared him to a big man.

Regardless, Irving has earned the respect of many in the NBA community, and people are starting to see him for what he is: one of the All-Time greats.

“He is the most skilled player to ever play the game,” Kendrick Perkins said on NBA Today following Irving’s 60-point outburst last month. “And it is no disrespect to Michael Jordan. It is no disrespect to the late great Kobe Bryant. It is no disrespect to Olajuwon and a lot of others. But when you look at what Kyrie doing, how he does it. It’s not what he do, it’s how he do it.”

In his 11th season, the Australian native was caught up in a major controversy after refusing the COVID-19 vaccine. He spent months away from the team, preparing his body and mind for his eventual return.

Despite missing most of the season, Irving returned like he hadn’t missed a game, and the Nets have been better off ever since.

Through 28 games, he averaged 27.2 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game on 46% shooting.
