Today, he got to experience a college atmosphere in the NBA as the Spurs set the record for single-game attendance with the Warriors in the house. Draymond described playing in the game after the Warriors’ big win.
“It was very fun. It’s funny, I said to somebody at the beginning of the game, it feels like you’re playing in the Final Four all over again. To have that experience, like you leave that and never think you’re gonna experience it again. I think this is a great thing that the Spurs organization did. Even though the Spurs were not expected to compete against the Warriors, the fans stayed electric throughout as the Spurs celebrated the 50th anniversary of their franchise. It was a memorable night and the Warriors put on an offensive show for the crowd in the Alamodome.

Draymond Green has openly said that his career-long stint with the Warriors might be coming to a close soon, as he expects to enter free agency either this year or the next. He said that this is a business and nobody will keep him around just because of his contributions to the team, something he isn’t offended by.
Green has been incredibly important for the Warriors this season, carrying the load defensively. His departure will severely impact the team but they will hope that players like Jonathan Kuminga can develop quickly enough to replace what Draymond was providing to them for the last decade.
