Draymond Green Says Brooklyn Nets Will Win The East This Season

2 Min Read

Draymond Green believes the Brooklyn Nets are going to win the Eastern Conference this season. Besides the New Yorkers, two more teams are favorites to come out of the East, the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks, precisely, will probably face the Nets in the second round of the postseason. This is going to be a heavyweight matchup between two teams with a lot of firepower on their roster.

Green was a host on Monday’s edition of TNT’s “Inside the NBA,” where he was asked about the East’s representant in the Finals this year. He made it clear that the Nets will go to the big series since they are the team to beat. Of course, Charles Barkley had something to say about it, but for Green, it’s pretty clear.

“I don’t know if you’re getting anything bold out of me here,” Green said to Johnson. “Who’s winning the East? Brooklyn’s winning the East. I don’t really think that’s that bold, though. Who’s beating them?”

“Milwaukee Bucks,” Barkley interjected.

“Good luck, Chuck,” Green responded.

This series could perfectly be the Eastern Conference Finals. But, their regular-season seeds have brought the Bucks and Nets to this point. Whoever comes out of this series will probably face the Philadelphia 76ers next, so you know the job won’t be easy.

Draymond is convinced that his former teammate Kevin Durant can get the job done. And, truth be told, it’s hard to disagree with the 3x NBA champion.
