Jimmy Butler is the current best player on the Miami Heat, and there’s no doubt that he’s the face of their franchise. Jimmy Butler managed to lead them to the NBA Finals in 2020, and if the Miami Heat end up winning Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, then Jimmy Butler will be making his second Finals trip.
A big reason for the Miami Heat being able to force a Game 7 is Jimmy Butler’s ridiculous performance in Game 6, where he put up 47 points in an elimination game. There’s no doubt that a lot of people expected the Celtics to close the series out at home, but it’s obvious that Jimmy Butler had other plans.
With his Game 6 performance, Jimmy Butler surpassed both Dwyane Wade and LeBron James for the most points scored in an elimination game. Dwyane Wade has recently reacted to Jimmy Butler’s achievement, Tweeting at both LeBron James and Jimmy Butler, while claiming that he and LeBron James have to “make room” as “Jimmy Butler has entered the room”.

There is no doubt that Jimmy Butler has had a spectacular playoff run thus far, and perhaps we’ll see him win Game 7. Jimmy Butler himself has sent a warning to the Boston Celtics after Game 6, claiming that the Heat knew they were going to win, and stating that they are going to win Game 7 as well:
“We knew we were going to win this one. And we’re going to win the next one too.”
It remains to be seen if the Miami Heat do end up winning against the Boston Celtics in Game 7. The Celtics are an elite defensive team, and they shouldn’t necessarily be counted out as Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will likely come out firing.
Jimmy Butler has shown that he will show up in the biggest moments, and the Miami Heat will definitely need him to deliver another spectacular offensive performance to win. Hopefully, he is able to lead them to a win against the Boston Celtics.
