In a new viral clip, the Dallas Mavericks sharpshooter is seen enjoying dinner with Megan Thee Stallion, who apparently whipped up a homemade meal of catfish, spaghetti, and Hawaiian rolls. Klay’s reaction? Pure praise.

Thompson, a 4x NBA champion and sharpshooting legend, has been in a very public and increasingly serious relationship with rapper and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion. They have quickly become the NBA’s biggest celebrity couple, rivaling even the fame of Devin Booker and Kendall Jenner years ago.
Their relationship seems wholesome from the outside, but it didn’t stop fans from speaking their mind when this latest video surfaced. According to several fans, Thompson is merely pretending to enjoy his meal so that he can get brownie points from his partner.
“Why is Klay Thompson eating this garbage when he has $100 million?” asked a fan on X.
Apparently, catfish, spaghetti, and Hawaiian rolls make up Klay’s favorite meal, but fans were less than convinced that it was as good as he claimed.

At certain points in the video, Klay has a much more serious expression, and some have taken it as a sign that he’s just telling her what she wants to hear.

Some folks took it a step further by questioning the bonds of the relationship itself.

Some even theorized that the new celebrity relationship is just a PR stunt meant to capture the attention of fans and distract from other issues.

As for the dish in question, Klay can eat what he wants right now, given that it’s the off-season, but once training camp begins, we can expect a much more restrictive diet in order to stay in shape. Hopefully, Megan’s kitchen can adjust when training camp rolls around.
