NBA Fans Go Crazy Over Christian Braun’s Mom On Draft Night

The 2022 NBA Draft is part of the past now. Paolo Banchero was selected by the Orlando Magic as the first overall pick of the night. The former Duke player won the race against Jabari Smith and joined a Magic team with a solid young core for the future.

The top 3 picks of the night were Chet Holmgren, who went to the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Jabari Smith, who joined the interesting Houston Rockets. Even though these three stole most of the attention in the night, other players made some noise for their talents and what they can bring to their new teams.

However, one of them drew a lot of attention for different reasons. Kansas Jayhawks’ Christian Braun was selected by the Denver Nuggets with the 21st overall selection. When his name was called by NBA commissioner Adam Silver, many people suddenly became fans of Braun, but not precisely for his game.

Right after the pick was announced, he hugged his mother. The lady stole the show thanks to her beauty and everybody was in awe of her after watching her on live TV. Wearing a red dress, Braun’s mother caught the attention of many fans around the NBA world. As usual, they flooded social media with comments about how gorgeous the woman is.

NBA fans have a thing for players’ moms, apparently. Luka Doncic’s mom has received plenty of compliments from them in recent years, but it seems like there’s a new fan-favorite mom in town.

You said MOM?

Christian Braun spent three years with the Jayhawks, and this year, he helped the team win the NCAA National Championship after beating North Carolina in the final game. Now, he’s joining a team with the 2x reigning Nikola Jokic and a group of talented players who aspire to compete for the title for many years to come.

If Christian stays with them for a long time, the Nuggets fanbase will grow thanks to his mother. A lot of fans changed their favorite team on Draft Night, and that might not change anytime soon.
