Tim Duncan is one of the greatest players of all time. He won 5 NBA Championships, 2 MVPs, 1 All-Star MVP, 3 Finals MVP, was named Rookie of the Year, a 15-time All-NBA, 15-time All-Star, and 15-time All-Defensive team.
Duncan won nearly every possible award throughout his flawless career in the NBA. If anything, it's crazy how his name isn't even mentioned in the GOAT debate.
But now that he's left basketball behind, The Big Fundamental is clearly into some new interests. For the past couple of years, he's really gotten into kickboxing, which is a scary thought and sight.
We're talking about a 6'11, 250-pound specimen that's used to NBA training regimes coming your way. That's not the kind of guy you want to jump into a ring or octagon with, that's for sure.
And, just in case you still had some doubts on how a former NBA great looks kickboxing and still want to test your luck, here's some footage of his training:
Judging by this video, it seems like Tim Duncan is in good enough shape to give you 10 and 7 in 18 minutes off the bench, so maybe Gregg Popovich would like to pick up the phone and just ask him.
All jokes aside, it's great to see Timmy still killing it out there. He's a much more athletic guy than people gave him credit for. And while he's always been a down-to-earth, quiet, and easy-going kind of guy, you definitely don't want to test him, especially not know.
