Michael Jordan’s 34-year-old son Marcus Jordan was arrested in Florida after being charged with driving under the influence (DUI), possession of cocaine, and resisting arrest.
TMZ has got its hands on the police bodycam footage from the incident, releasing it and showing the encounter of how Marcus was stopped by the police on train tracks while being under the influence of something. The video also shows Marcus trying to use his father’s name to escape the situation when the cops pulled him over.
Marcus Jordan: “Bro, I’m Michael Jordan’s son, I’m not doing anything wrong. I am just trying to get home and I made a wrong turn.”
Police Officer: “Clearly, we would just like to get your car off the f***ing train tracks… I already have concerns over your level of impairment, so that’s why. I smell alcohol on your breath, and you’re on the train tracks. Just listen to me, that’s why I don’t want you behind the wheel.”
Marcus Jordan: “I’m fine behind the wheel. I’d like to get my car out of… (tracks).”
Police Officer: “We’ll deal with that after this. That’s why I had to get you out of the car. I hear slurred speech from you, you’re driving on train tracks.”
Marcus Jordan: “I’m not slurring anything,”
Police Officer: “I’m letting you know. I have concerns and I can’t let you behind the car and drive a vehicle.”
Marcus Jordan: “I appreciate your concern, but I’m not inebriated and I’m not anything that cannot drive home.”

Marcus can be heard slurring his speech in the video, and given he was charged after this for possession of controlled substances, it wouldn’t be surprising if he was driving under the influence.
This seems to be a worsening overall substance situation for Marcus. He was seen snorting a suspicious white powder in the summer of 2024, which fueled speculation about his lifestyle and potential substance addiction. The powder was never confirmed to be cocaine at the time, but this recent arrest for cocaine possession now has validated many of the concerns people had about Marcus.
Marcus Jordan’s bond was reportedly set at $4,000. There’s no confirmation if someone posted bail but it’s a fair assumption that Jordan is already out of custody and likely dealing with the potential fallout of his actions now.
No one from the Jordan family has commented on this situation, including Marcus and his six-time NBA Champion father Michael.
