The Boston Celtics are two wins away from winning the NBA Championship after defeating the Dallas Mavericks 105-98 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. The Celtics now have a 2-0 lead in the series, with many fans upset at how no one on the Mavericks helped Luka Doncic pull this win out.

It became clear to fans that the Celtics were a much better team through this game.

Fans joked about Kyrie not showing up to help Luka.

Fans couldn’t understand why Kyrie has been so bad.

People didn’t want to hear narratives about Luka being a bad player when he’s clearly the best player on the court.

Mavs fans were praying for Luka to be healthy enough to lead them to this win.

Fans joked about Tatum’s lack of impact on the Celtics.

Fans believe Tatum is getting excused for his poor performances because of how good his team is.

The Celtics were led by Jrue Holiday’s 26 points and 11 rebounds, along with absolutely sensational defense on Kyrie Irving. Jaylen Brown had a solid 21 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Jayson Tatum got a near triple-double with 18 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists, albeit he played on terrible efficiency, shooting 27.3% from the field.

Luka Doncic did everything he could, playing through three injuries and dropping 32 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, and four steals in the loss. P.J. Washington had 17 points but the man the Mavs needed to produce, Kyrie Irving, put up just 16 points on 7-18 shooting.
