James Harden‘s face said everything when he saw his girlfriend Paije Speights catch the bouquet at Rajon Rondo’s wedding. Harden went immediately wide-eyed and looked scared, as he understood the sign that catching a bouquet at a wedding means that you are next to get married.

Harden’s girlfriend, Paije Speights, is also the ex-girlfriend of former NBA player Mario Chalmers. Her and Mario even have a son together named Prynce, who is four years old. Speights has been linked to former NBA player Lou Williams in the past as well, but the two were never confirmed to be dating.

Speights is a streetwear designer who rose to prominence thanks to the HBO show ‘The Hype’, which follows streetwear designers in a reality show-style format. On top of that, she parlayed her prominence into a singing career as well.

Speights and Harden have not publically confirmed any speculation about their relationship, but Harden has been spotted wearing her designs in the past. We do not know when the two started dating or how long they have been together, but fans have speculated that their relationship is new.

Given the supposed recent nature of their relationship, Speights has not been by Harden’s side over some of the tough stretches of his career during the last few years, including his departure from the Rockets, the Nets, the 76ers, and his recent first-round playoff exit with the Clippers.

It’s good to see Harden taking a break from basketball and enjoying the offseason by attending Rondo’s wedding, after a difficult year with the Clippers. Harden had one of his best seasons in recent memory since joining the Clippers, averaging 16.6 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.1 rebounds, as he led the Mavericks to the fourth seed in the Western Conference.

However, injuries to Kawhi Leonard and other key pieces led to the Clippers being short-staffed against a formidable Mavericks team, who ended up beating them in six games to win the series and end the Clippers’ season early.

Where Will James Harden End Up Next Season?

In a recent interview, James Harden said that he wants to be remembered as a winner, who gave all his love to the game and played at the highest level. He really hopes people remember how much he contributed to the game as a teacher.

“That I was a winner, that I was a teacher,” Harden said. “That I had a different love for the game. I mean like, put the money aside, I really enjoy and love the game of basketball and playing it. Whether it’s being with the kids here or when I travel (to) other places in Europe, when I go to China, I just want people to understand how much I really love and enjoy the game of basketball.”

James Harden is an unrestricted free agent this year, meaning that he can sign with any team in the NBA without the Clippers getting a chance to match the offer they made him. So there are some question marks surrounding his future in Los Angeles.

While Harden has remained tight-lipped about his future, he has appeared happy while playing for the Clippers. However, Harden has shown a degree of unpredictability when it comes to making decisions about his career and his future. And with him getting to test free agency for the first time in years, his situation could be one to be monitored.

The Clippers could be in for a monumental offseason, as Paul George is also an unrestricted free agent this summer. The 76ers are a massive threat to sign George this offseason, which could drastically change the Clippers’ roster plans for the season. It will be interesting to see if George’s free-agency decision will impact Harden’s future with the franchise.
