Dennis Rodman has lived one of the most entertaining lives out of most NBA players. He was dominant on the court and made the most of his life off the court.

An infamous incident from Rodman’s playing career came during his time with the Chicago Bulls, after he went on an infamous 48-hour bender in the middle of the 1998 NBA Finals. A movie about the same will feature Jonathan Majors in the role of Rodman, and fans are excited about it.

One fan expressed concern about how the 5’11 Majors will play the 6’7 Rodman, “DR is 6’7 lol JM is like 5’11/6ft. How does that work lol.”

Another fan loved the casting, “Yeah I’m down for that! Majors has the body to play any pro athlete. The dude is a specimen. I do however think he’s a bit on the boring side as an actor. Not flamboyant enough, but who knows? Maybe he’ll prove me wrong.”

Majors is coming off a starring role in Creed III and is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His acting has received plenty of plaudits and people expect him to do the role justice.

What Happened When Rodman Went To Vegas?

The Lionsgate production of the real-life event will definitely have some elements changed for the cinema screen but the real-life story is incredible, and fans of The Last Dance already know what Michael Jordan’s perspective on the situation was.

Rodman went on his Vegas vacation because he started dealing with the responsibility of being Jordan’s co-star when Scottie Pippen was injured. After Pippen returned, Rodman was starting to be burnt out and the team agreed on letting the power forward go and blow off steam in a story that is now infamous.

Even though Rodman had received an allowance for 48 hours, he ended up spending almost 4 days with his girlfriend Carmen Electra before returning to the team. It all worked out, as Rodman came back and helped the Bulls win their final championship of the Jordan era.
