Former NBA’s journeyman Anthony Morrow is in legal trouble after starring in a domestic violence incident in Charlotte.
Morrow, who spent nine seasons in the NBA, is facing legal action following his arrest in mid-February.
Anthony is now facing multiple charges due to his actions against a woman. These include assault on a female, assault by strangulation, communicating threats and second-degree kidnapping.
He was taken under arrest and then to the Mecklenburg County jail on Feb. 10. Morrow left the building two days later after paying his $15,000 bond, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s office records.
In a day full of controversial news for the NBA, including Ja Morant doing wild things at a club and showing off a gun on social media, the reports about Morrow don’t bring any joy to the community.
A nine-year veteran, Morrow played for a host of teams, including the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors.
In 564 games, the former shooting guard averaged 9.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists, shooting 44.7% from the field and 41.7% from beyond the arc.
NBA Community Is Shocked By Anthony Morrow’s News
As stated before, this Saturday has been full of controversial news around the NBA community, and besides Ja Morant doing controversial things on Instagram, and the league announcing an investigation for it, Morrow’s news also shocked the community.
Many fans reacted to this, with some lamenting that Morrow got himself in this type of trouble, and others calling him out for the same.
