“The travelers, ages 34 and 33, both of Los Angeles, uploaded the fake results to the Hawaii Safe Travels program, according to a news release.

Travelers must submit vaccine cards or negative COVID-19 tests to visit the islands without quarantining. The program flagged the fake tests, prompting an investigation by Hawaii authorities and the arrest Tuesday of the two suspects, police reported. They face a charge of unsworn falsification.

Following their arrests, police drove the two to the airport for a direct flight home, according to the release. No court date has been set.”

Lazar Hayward had a far-from-successful tenure in the NBA, spending just 3 seasons in the Association between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Over that span, he managed to average roughly 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game on 8.2 minutes a night.

Even so, he managed to make over $3.3 million dollars throughout his brief stint in the Association, so he has a couple of bucks to spare in case he’s faced with a heavy fine from the Hawaiian government.
