Many years ago, Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan could be considered what people call ‘good friends’ after all the seasons they spent playing together on the Chicago Bulls.

They went on to win six NBA championships in two different three-peats, marking a big era in the league. Scottie really loved his time with Jordan, so much so that he admitted he missed playing with MJ during the second season he spent without His Airness on the Portland Trail Blazers.

“‘I miss playing with him,’ Pippen said in an interview with Sports Illustrated in 1999. “I miss our body language out on the court, things we developed together. I miss that we had one another, that intimidation factor that we’d bring to the game. I miss winning.’ Pippen about Jordan after the 99 crash and burn season with Trail Blazers.”

This was a big revelation from Pippen, who failed to win the championship that season with the Blazers, losing in the Western Conference Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers that would win three straight championships.

Jordan and Pippen never lost in the Finals, becoming the greatest duo in the NBA while changing the Chicago Bulls forever. They formed the best duo, and Jordan always had the utmost respect for Scottie, calling him his best teammate ever.

MJ had nothing but good things to say about his former teammate, but Pippen is on a whole different page than the GOAT.

Scottie Pippen Is Now Attacking Michael Jordan Every Time He Has The Chance

After the Chicago Bulls’ docu-series The Last Dance premiered in 2020, Pippen’s attitude toward Jordan changed, and No. 33 started attacking His Airness whenever he had the chance.

More recently, he said that Jordan was a horrible player that couldn’t do anything until he arrived in Chicago in 1987. Pippen was terribly wrong with that claim, as Jordan was arguably a top-3 player during his first four years in the league.

The relationship between these two is beyond repair, as Scottie keeps taking shots at Jordan. They seemed to be really close during their playing days, and seeing how well they spoke of one another, that was probably the case.

However, a lot has changed since a couple of years ago, and these two won’t make amends anytime soon.
