Ja Morant is one of the brightest superstars in the NBA right now. The Memphis Grizzlies guard has a certain swagger in his game that makes fans instantly fall in love with him.
Many even believe that Morant has the potential to be the face of the league one day. However, over the last few days, Morant has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. Morant was accused of holding a 17-year-old kid to gunpoint and beating him up. Upon learning that alongside the Morant reportedly threatening a security guard when his mother got into an argument with a store employee, fans believe Ja is trying to get out of the NBA.

Many fans reacted to the post, and some even pointed out that Morant is not the first player who is doing that. Fans took the name of Miles Bridges, who has done the same thing.
Comments have been edited for clarification:
“Ja Morant (spinning the block) unavailable for tonight’s game,” a fan joked about Morant being unavailable to play.

NBA fans are brutal when it comes to roasting players if they disagree with it. The NBA community is certainly not giving Ja Morant the benefit of the doubt, as they believe Morant has definitely ruined his promising career.
Ja Morant’s Agent Clears The Air About Recent Accusations
If Ja Morant is proven guilty of these accusations, things can go south really fast for the Memphis Grizzlies superstar. He may end up behind bars. Keeping that in mind, Morant’s agent, Jim Tanner, released a statement about the accusations.
“Any and every allegation involving a firearm has been fully investigated and could not be corroborated. This includes the NBA investigation last month, in which they found no evidence. The July 26th event was purely self-defense. Again, after this was fully investigated by law enforcement, they came to the decision not to charge Ja with any time. Any of the dozens of witnesses will confirm Ja acted in self-defense and that he did not have a firearm. Ja is a family-first man who loves giving back to his community. He’s an extremely talented athlete. It’s disturbing that unsubstantiated rumors and gossip are being put out by people motivated to tear Ja down and tarnish his reputation for their own family gain.”
Hopefully, the situation clears up as soon as possible, and Ja Morant can focus solely on playing basketball.
Ja Morant has so far managed to lead the Grizzlies to a stunning 38-23 record, which puts the team in the second spot in the Western Conference table.
