Anthony Davis is one of the best big men in the league when healthy. There’s no doubt that his skill set allows him to dominate on both ends of the floor. Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers may have missed the playoffs this season, but that doesn’t make him any worse as an individual player.

Despite his ability, Anthony Davis has only made it to the playoffs 4 times during his career. In fact, a recent statistic that went viral on Twitter shows that Suns forward Jae Crowder only needs 11 points to pass Anthony Davis in all-time playoff points.

Jae Crowder (1,056) needs only 11 points to pass Anthony Davis (1,066) in all time playoff points

Jae Crowder is a veteran that has been on many playoff runs, so him having a solid amount of playoff points is expected. However, it is definitely crazy that he could potentially surpass Anthony Davis in total points in the playoffs, as Anthony Davis is far more gifted as a scorer.

Anthony Davis will hopefully have an opportunity to add to his total playoff points next season. The Los Angeles Lakers may have missed the playoffs this season, but Rob Pelinka has already stated that the team will look “under every stone” to find ways to be better.

Rest assured, we’re gonna look under every stone for ways to be better, and be open to anything that will improve our team and put us in a position to compete at a higher level next year than we did this year.

Anthony Davis has had a few injury-plagued seasons in recent memory, and there’s no doubt that his durability has been an issue for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. The team definitely missed him on both ends of the floor.

With that being said, a lot of his injuries have been freak accidents, so perhaps we’ll see a fully healthy Anthony Davis next season. He will be key to the Lakers potentially being a championship-caliber team, and hopefully he is ready to come back and dominate the league.
