Jae Crowder Welcomes Back Tom Thibodeau Remembering Heated Exchange

2 Min Read

Tom Thibodeau has reportedly found a new team in the NBA in the struggling New York Knicks. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski told the news on Saturday night, confirming what some people believe since Thibs was interviewed by the Knicks.

While some people were unhappy with the decision, others decided to congratulate Thibodeau, like Jae Crowder. Now part of the Miami Heat, Crowder has history standing up against rival players and coaches, including Thibs. During a game between the Utah Jazz and the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2018, Crowder and the experienced coach had a heated verbal exchange with Thibs cursing out the big man.

That video surfaced in recent hours and Crowder used it to congratulate and welcome Tom to the league, claiming he’s waiting to have those battles again.

The footage is definitely something else. You can see the veteran coach looking for Crowder, telling him to go to the back and finish things with a fight. Pure gold.

His new team expects him to have the same passion at the Madison Square Garden and there is no doubt that he’ll be like that.

The last time Thibs coached an NBA team was the 2018/19 season with the aforementioned Timberwolves. Now the challenge will be huge for him since he’s taking the reins of one of the worst teams this league has seen in recent years.
