Jalen Green was chosen with the No. 2 overall pick by the Houston Rockets in the 2021 NBA Draft and has shown the ability to become a star in the league in his two seasons.
While he usually goes viral for his highlights or elite scoring plays, Green recently went viral for a video of him and former teammate Josh Christopher. The video shows Green doing what can only be described as sexual gestures toward Christopher.
The video went viral on social media, with many fans commenting on it and while some of the comments were over the top, most were just poking fun at the young Rockets star.

The video has been taken down from various platforms, and one fan tied that in with a joke about Elon Musk and Twitter.

While both Green and Christopher just seemed to be horsing around, fans were always going to have a lot to say about a video like this. A fan simply called the whole situation wild.

And while the entire internet was having a field day making fun of the two young stars, one fan called out the homophobic rhetoric surrounding the situation and sent some love to the young stars.

The explicit nature of the video isn’t the best look for Green or the Rockets, but people will lose interest in it and stop paying attention soon enough.

However, Jalen Green spoke about it being a double-edged sword on a podcast with Paul George. This might have rubbed the Beard the wrong way and dissuaded him from returning to the team.
“[James Harden] caught wind of Jalen’s podcast with Paul George, and he wasn’t too keen on some of the things Jalen Green was saying… For [Jalen] to say ‘it could be good, it could be bad,’ [James] didn’t like that very much.”
The offseason hasn’t been too kind to Jalen Green, although he will be hoping it gets better. The Rockets have added some veteran players to the team and loaded up on talent.
