Things are starting to look up for the Brooklyn Nets as they have made decisions that could improve their chances of winning a championship. Team owner Joe Tsai has opted to bring Kyrie Irving back to the team despite his decision to not get vaccinated.

Irving will be a part-time player and will only feature on road games, but his presence will be a significant boost regardless. Many have frowned on the decision, including NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal. He believes the team is doing well without him and did not need to make that move.

While many have shown their frustration with the decision, teammates are excited to have their All-Star guard back in the lineup.

James Harden, who was conflicted about his role earlier in the season because of Kyrie’s absence has spoken about his return, stating that his presence will be a huge boost for the team.

According to Nets Daily writer Matt Brooks:

"We all know how special of a talent Kyrie is and what he means to this organization. Just being around him, even if it's only for road games, it's going to be huge for us."

The win at Crypto.com Arena was a significant one for the Nets, who were without Kevin Durant and Irving. Harden made a return after a 15 days absence and registered a 36-point game against the Lakers. Although both teams were short-handed, the Lakers had the better chance to win with the quality of players on their roster but instead lost their fifth consecutive game.

The game ended 122-115 in favor of the Nets with Harden and Patty Mills leading the charge. Harden has been underwhelming for the Nets so far, and perhaps is one of the reasons the organization chose to recall Irving. He is averaging 21.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 9.6 assists.
