Jayson Tatum Reveals His Top Five NBA Players

2 Min Read

Jayson Tatum has revealed who he believes are the top 5 players in the NBA right now. The Boston Celtics young star is becoming one of the top names in the league. However, he still doesn’t consider himself as part of the true elite in the association.

That doesn’t mean he can’t do it in the future, but the forward knows that certain players deserve massive respect for what they’ve done and keep doing in the league. So during a recent interview on Million Dollaz Worth of Game, the 23-year-old was asked to name the top 5 players in the league (23:02).

He hesitated for a couple of seconds before naming LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, James Harden, and Anthony Davis.

Then, he was asked why he didn’t name himself, and Tatum brought up championships to the conversation.

“For me, the guys at the top. I really respect the guys that got championships. Everybody in that top 5 got a championship.”

He then clarified that James Harden doesn’t have a championship, but the message was clear. Plenty of fans believe the Beard was close to winning a title in 2018, but the infamous Chris Paul injury ruined his plans.

Perhaps this year, he could win a ‘ship with the Brooklyn Nets, who currently face Tatum’s Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. This kid has everything to become a pretty good deal in the association. He’s good on both ends of the floor. He is clutch and doesn’t back down to any challenge.

It won’t take long before we see Tatum doing his thing, leading his Celtics to win championships alongside Jaylen Brown.
