We have frequently seen Kevin Hart hang out with NBA players on his show “Cold as Balls”, and his most recent guest on the program was Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum. The show frequently features banter between Hart and his guests, and it seems as though Tatum was in a joking mood today.

During his appearance on “Cold as Balls”, Jayson Tatum decided to troll Kevin Hart by offering him his son Deuce’s jersey to wear, joking that he was told that “it might fit” Hart. The jersey surprisingly did end up fitting Hart, as he is only 5’2.

Jayson Tatum: “I got a surprise for you. A little gift. This is my son’s jersey. But they told me it might fit. I know how much you love the Celtics.”

Kevin Hart: “What is this, 2T?”

There is no doubt that this is a funny situation, and Hart definitely took the joke graciously. The funniest part is definitely Tatum putting the jersey on Hart and joking about Hart loving the Celtics while the comedian is a staunch Philadelphia 76ers fan.

This past season, Jayson Tatum averaged 30.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game for the Boston Celtics, while shooting 35.0% from 3PT range. He is poised for an elite year with the Boston Celtics, and we’ll see how he does going forward.

Jayson Tatum Wants To Become A Boston Celtics Legend

There is no doubt that in the NBA, there are a lot of players who don’t truly love the game of basketball. In fact, veteran Patrick Beverley once shockingly claimed that 50% of NBA players don’t love the game of basketball. However, it seems as though Jayson Tatum is definitely not one of those players. Previously we saw Jayson Tatum say that he wants to become a Boston Celtics legend like Larry Bird and Bill Russell, and it seems as though the superstar understands that he has to win a championship to get on that level.

Jayson Tatum definitely has the talent to lead a team to win at the highest level. He is a two-way player who contributes to every aspect of the game, and his shot-creation ability is highly regarded across the league. Though he has fallen short of the championship in recent years, it is fair to say that he has led the way on a very successful stretch of basketball for the team. Hopefully, we see the Boston Celtics make it back to the NBA Finals, and they definitely have the roster to do that this season.

Jayson Tatum Could Win MVP Next Season

The Boston Celtics have consistently been a top-tier team during Jayson Tatum’s tenure with the franchise. It is clear that Tatum has a huge impact on winning for the team, and if they manage to be elite in the Eastern Conference next year, we could see Tatum become an MVP candidate.

Of course, just because something is meant to happen on paper, doesn’t mean it will actually happen in reality. Jayson Tatum and the Celtics will still have to put in the work to be on top, but if that happens, we can be sure that Jayson Tatum will be a serious threat to get the 2024 MVP award.
