The 2023 NBA Playoffs have been the Jimmy Butler show, for the most part, as he has led the Miami Heat on an improbable run to the NBA Finals.

Butler has averaged 28.5 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 5.7 APG, and 2.1 SPG along the way and is now looking to strike while the iron is hot. He filed a trademark for “Himmy Buckets” on the 24th of May, in hopes of launching various products under it, as per Josh Gerben.

“Jimmy Butler has filed a new trademark for:

“HIMMY BUCKETS”

The filing, made on May 24th, indicates that @JimmyButler plans to launch a “HIMMY BUCKETS”-brand of:

1. Coffee 2. Beer 3. Soda 4. Bottled Water 5. Clothing 6. Coffee cups”

For those unaware, this “Himmy Buckets” nickname is a play on the “He’s him” meme that has taken over social media. Butler is often regarded by fans as “Him” and so, “Jimmy Buckets” has become “Himmy Buckets.” While Butler doesn’t seem too fond of the “Playoff Jimmy” nickname, he seems to like this one, and his products under that name are going to be quite popular in Miami.

Jimmy Butler Was Always Confident The Heat Would Get To The Finals

In what could be regarded as another “Him” moment, tennis player and Heat fan Coco Gauff revealed that Butler had offered to buy her tickets for the NBA Finals, even before the playoffs started. She stated that Butler told her that when they make the Finals, he could arrange for some tickets for her family.

It is that supreme confidence in his abilities that makes Butler who he is. He doesn’t care if it seems absurd to the outside world and has always had the utmost belief in his team. He had promised Heat fans last year after losing to the Boston Celtics in the Conference Finals that he’d make amends for it in 2023, and he did just that. All that’s left now is to cap it all off with the championship.
