Jimmy Butler was part of a stunning Miami Heat team that made it to the Finals last season, upsetting the Milwaukee Bucks in the process. There is no doubt that he has ascended to superstar status over the last few years, and his averages from this season support that. Currently, Jimmy Butler is averaging 21.5 PPG, 6.9 RPG, 7.1 APG. There is no doubt that he is doing everything on the court to lead this Miami Heat team on another potential run.

When asked about the playoffs recently, Jimmy Butler has stated that he’s locked in. Jimmy Butler is a player that elevates himself in the postseason, and there is no surprise that he’s ramping everything up right now.

There is potential for the Miami Heat to make a run if they upset their opponent from last season, the Milwaukee Bucks. They are a stout team with an elite defense and an offense spearheaded by Giannis Antetokounmpo. He has former All-Stars in Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday on his roster as well, so it is obviously not a walk in the park. However, Jimmy Butler has done it before and he could potentially do it again.

The Miami Heat have solid young talents: Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, and Bam Adebayo are all capable NBA players, with Bam Adebayo being a DPOY candidate and a former All-Star as well. However, the X-Factor for them will always be their superstar, and that’s Jimmy Butler. When one puts the ball in his hands in crunch time, it is always a great show.
