The difference between buying a superteam and creating a superteam can be seen this season. While the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets tried the former technique, the Warriors and the Celtics placed trust in the latter. And guess which two teams are playing in the 2022 NBA Finals?
Speaking of the Warriors, apart from the time when Kevin Durant signed with the franchise, the Dubs have drafted their other prominent superstars like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. So it goes without saying that the Warriors tend to give their young players a chance to flourish.
Another player that the organization gave a chance to do so is none other than Jordan Poole. This season Poole has impressed everyone with his rise to finding a permanent spot in Steve Kerr’s rotation.
But after a strong regular season, Poole’s contribution seemed to fade away in the 2022 playoffs. He was becoming an easy target for fans to put all the blame on if he had a poor game.
Anyway, in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Poole silenced his critics with a decent performance. Moreover, he hit an insane half-court buzzer-beater in the third quarter to further increase the Warriors’ lead.
Even Steph Curry was impressed with that buzzer-beater and looked very proud of Poole. After draining that amazing three-pointer, Poole was asked about his thoughts on it.

“Yeah, I want the ball at all of the end of the quarters and the shot clocks. My teammates root for me and I had him on his heels and I have endless range, I guess.”
Poole seemed very confident in his skill and at the end of the day drained that amazing half-court shot. But the series is still far from over.
As of now, both teams have won one game each. Game 3 will play a very crucial role in how the series will turn out and who will become the 2022 NBA champions.
