Julius Randle took offense with Jarrett Allen after the Cleveland Cavaliers big man committed a flagrant foul in the 4th quarter of the second game of the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks series.

After the game was over, Randle discussed the play, labeling it as unnecessary.

“At this point it’s irrelevant. I thought it was a little unnecessary. I understand playoff basketball, you don’t give up on plays and I respect that, I’m somebody who plays hard and I respect that,” he said, via SNY. “But typically when you make those kind of plays you run across their body, not through them.”

With 2.30 left on the clock, Randle was headed to the rim to make a dunk. Jarrett Allen tried to contest the play, but it didn’t work. He did make contact with Randle, who landed on his back. Allen was given a flagrant foul 1 for this action.

Fortunately, nothing happened to Randle, and he’s fine now. Still, he felt like Allen tried too hard to contest that dunk, and things could have gone terribly wrong for the 2x NBA All-Star.

In the end, the Cavaliers tied the series after a big 107-90 win over the Knicks, who now head back home looking for revenge. This is one of the most entertaining series of the first round of the playoffs, and fans can’t wait to see what is going to happen in Game 3.

Julius Randle Accidentally Slapped Jalen Brunson In The Face

Randle was also an attacker during the game, even hitting his own teammate, Jalen Brunson, in the face. This was an accident, however, but Brunson still felt pain after being slapped by Randle.

They quickly moved on from that, hugging and continuing to play, but it was a curious moment of the game. Now, they will try to slap the Cavaliers in the face with a win in Game 3, trying to get closer to the second round of the playoffs.

The Knicks have shown that they are a very competitive team, and they will be back for the next game. Randle will try to make a statement and let people know that he’s not going down that easily.
