Julius Randle has established himself as the star of the New York Knicks in the past two or three seasons. Although he has had his differences with the Knicks, Randle is currently one of the best players on the Knicks’ roster. Evidently, many Knicks fans are his supporters.

Speaking of Julius Randle’s supporters, arguably his biggest supporter is his son, Kyden Randle. Many fans remember him from his viral video of breaking down after the Knicks lost a preseason game a few months ago.

Apart from supporting his father in playing in the league, Kyden also plays basketball himself. In fact, recently, a hilarious clip of him wrestling a kid to the ground went viral on Twitter.

Julius Randle’s son couldn’t get the ball so he took matters into his own hands

In the short clip, Randle’s son was seen continuously asking for the ball. But his teammate ignored him. So instead of waiting for the ball to eventually come to him, he decided to take matters into his hands.

Kyden walked to his teammates and tried to snatch the basketball from his hands. During the process, he also wrestled the kid to the ground. It certainly feels like Julius Randle’s son shares the same passion for playing basketball as his father.

Julius Randle To Remain A Player Of The New York Knicks

During the 2021-22 NBA season, Julius Randle was in the headlines for reportedly wanting out of the New York Knicks and was featured in a plethora of trade rumors. But this season, things have changed for the good between the two.

Randle is averaging a solid 24.5 PPG, 10.5 RPG, and 3.8 APG so far this season and is making a strong case for making the second NBA All-Star appearance of his career.

Moreover, with the Knicks being the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference right now, the recent rumors suggest that the franchise is no longer interested in shipping him elsewhere. It’s certainly a piece of good news for the organization as they finally have a cornerstone star on the roster and are winning games as well.
