Kevin Durant is a favorite of celebrities. The former two-time NBA champion has often been seen hanging out and associating with actors and musicians off the court. A few months ago, KD was part of Drake’s music video for his hit song ‘Laugh Now, Cry Later’. And now, he has gone out and linked with another legendary artist – none other than Kanye West. And West was even able to get KD off his feet and moving.

Justin Laboy revealed on Twitter that Kanye West invited Kevin Durant to a special exclusive album listening party in Las Vegas on Sunday. West is rumored to release his new album soon, and so Durant made the list of the few people that got to hear it early. In fact, Durant enjoyed the album so much, that he was even dancing to it, according to Laboy. Clearly, KD is a big fan of ‘Ye and will be listening to the album on repeat when it comes out.

For KD, he happened to be in Las Vegas presently, as that is where Team USA is based right now. Durant will be representing Team USA at this year’s Olympics in Tokyo. So he used his remaining time in the US to go meet Kanye. However, Durant is still hungry for success on the court, especially after what happened to him during the NBA playoffs. He and the Brooklyn Nets fell to the Milwaukee Bucks in seven games. The Nets were hampered by injuries to KD, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving at different parts of the season, especially the latter two who suffered injuries during the playoffs.

However, this early exit also allowed KD to have some extra rest before he and the Brooklyn Nets run it back next season. Perhaps he just heard an early sampling of what will be the soundtrack to his next success on the court.
