The Minnesota Timberwolves surprised the Los Angeles Lakers again on Friday night, snapping their 3-game winning streak with a 110-92 win at Target Center. They ruined Isaiah Thomas’ return to the NBA after signing a 10-day contract with the Purple and Gold.
It was a good night for the home team, winning their third consecutive match, beating the Lakers for the second time this season. Karl-Anthony Towns showed all his qualities while Anthony Davis continued to struggle, even having a hard time trying to stop the Timberwolves’ star at the paint.
KAT was inspired night and didn’t hesitate to show AD who was in charge. The 2015 No. 1 overall pick went at it with the Los Angeles Lakers big man, easily handling him at the post, getting the bucket, and bullying his opponent.
The Dominican-American player hit AD with the ‘too small’ gesture after finishing a big play.

Anthony Davis isn’t looking like his best version. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has been the subject of harsh criticism from both fans and media members. He’s shooting less than 20% from beyond the arc, is missing easy shots, and not looking good in general.
The Davis that dominated during his first season with the Lakers has disappeared and nobody knows what to do to get back that player. Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley blamed him for the Lakers’ struggles this season, and NBA fans weren’t kind with him after KAT bullied him, either.
Nobody is rooting for another Bubble more than Anthony Davis

AD’s fall from grace has been astounding to watch. Remember when the lakers were supposed to have to perennial MVP candidates for the next few years?

What’s really going on with AD this season. He appears to be in the best physical shape of his career but he’s playing worse than ever

Davis’ fall from grace is dramatic. He went from being a top 10 player in the association to becoming one of the biggest disappointments this season. AD has vowed to continue doing what he normally does, but something must change for him to be a more impactful player and take the Lakers to the top of the Western Conference.
