The Los Angeles Clippers made it to the All-Star break with a 24-14 record, which is good for the 4th spot in the Western Conference.
Judging by how great and competitive the West has been with the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Lakers; that’s quite the privileged spot, and it’s clear that Tyronn Lue has turned the team around following some struggles during Doc Rivers’ final year.
Then again, Kawhi Leonard is far from satisfied and still wants to see the team meshing altogether, and that will be their focus ahead of the second half of the season:
“Get some continuity, some chemistry, just execution trying to get these wins and so we can have some carryover into the playoffs and that’s what I want to see most,” Leonard said, as quoted by Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
Kawhi Leonard on what he wants to see the most in second half besides Clippers winning: "Get some continuity, some chemistry, just execution trying to get these wins and so we can have some carryover into the playoffs and that’s what I want to see most."

The Clippers imploded last season despite being the most stacked team in the league. Perhaps their biggest problem was the fact that they barely practiced together and didn’t seem to get along outside of the court either. That’s why it’s so important to build some chemistry and learn from their mistakes.
No one seems to be taking the Clippers seriously as a threat out of the Western Conference, mostly due to their countless struggles in the playoffs. Then again, they’ve looked pretty focused and solid throughout the season, even when Paul George was sidelined with an injury.
The Clippers have finally changed their mindset and you could never count out a team with that much talent. Hopefully, they’ll prove their doubters wrong once and for all.
