Kendrick Perkins: ‘Only A Few Can Shoot On Double Rims… Guys like Steph, Klay, And Perk! Carry On…’

Kendrick Perkins was never known for being an offensive threat. In fact, his only points often came from the line, put-backs, dunks, or blatant mistakes from the opposing defense. He averaged 5.4 points per game on 53% shooting and only scored over in double digits during one season of his career (10.1 points).

However, it seems like the former Champion has forgotten about his limited offensive skill set, as he’s recently turned to Twitter to brag about his scoring abilities, thus breaking the internet with countless fans laughing their hearts off.

Perk went on Twitter to say that only a few shooters could score on those hated and infamous double-rims, putting himself in the company of sharpshooters of the likes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson:

“Only a few can shoot on double rims…Guys like Steph, Klay and Perk!!! Carry on…” Perkins claimed.

Obviously, Perk sees himself as the third Splash Brother, which is hilarious considering he only attempted 14 three-pointers throughout his career and didn’t knock down any of them.

Let’s remember that Perkins also claimed that he had an ‘automatic’ jump hook, which obviously didn’t go unnoticed by NBA fans and trolls.

“Give me either one…this jump hook of mine is automatic,” the former NBA Champion tweeted.

Perkins had already made everybody laugh a couple of weeks ago by posting a video of him working on his – incredibly slow – handles. Obviously, it’s pretty clear that he doesn’t truly believe that he’s an offensive juggernaut and he’s just fooling around, but his recent comments and hot takes have made him far from a fan favorite online.
