Kevin Durant Acknowledges The ‘Baddies’ In The Stands: “When Rihanna Walks In, It’s Hard Not To Notice Her”

Kevin Durant claims he isn't distracted by anyone during games but does acknowledge the "baddies" in the stands.

The latest episode of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast featured Kevin Durant and it has proven to be must-watch content. At one point during the episode, Paul asked Durant if he ever gets distracted by heckling fans or celebrities at games and he hilariously admitted he does acknowledge the “baddies.”

“I wouldn’t say distracted but I do acknowledge them sometimes,” Durant said. “Especially if it’s baddies in the stands for sure. If it’s celebs around the floor you definitely want to see who it is.”

Paul asked Durant who would be a celebrity he would notice and Mike Majlak brought up Corrina Kopf.

“Oh yeah, I’ve seen her before at a Drake concert,” Durant stated. “When Rihanna walks in, it’s hard not to notice her. Just all the baddies, bro.”

(starts at 27:50 mark):

It would indeed be quite hard not to notice Rihanna. She and Durant had a viral exchange during Game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals as well. Rihanna is a well-known LeBron James fan and trash-talked Durant during that contest between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. She wanted to get into his head, but the act backfired, as he took over the game and led the Warriors to a 113-91 win.

Rihanna appeared to have yelled “brick” when Durant was at the free-throw line. He then hit a three-pointer right in front of her not long after and appeared to stare her down.

Durant is an individual who thrives in these kinds of situations and I would like to think Rihanna learned her lesson that day. The fact that there has been no such incident since then, indicates that she might well have.

Getting back to Durant and the “baddies,” there is nothing wrong about him acknowledging them, as he is reportedly single. He is also far from the only player to do so either. It has been a bit of a running joke that Jordan Poole thrives when they are watching him and the same has been said about so many other players as well.

Kevin Durant Has Partnered With Logan Paul

If you were wondering why Durant was on Logan Paul’s podcast, that’s because they have now teamed up. The Phoenix Suns superstar has partnered with Paul’s Prime Hydration to release a new drink.

Durant is the latest star signed by Prime, with the brand having teamed up with the likes of Patrick Mahomes as well. The timing of his partnership is excellent too, as the 35-year-old will soon be starring for Team USA at the Olympics.

This is the fourth time that Durant will be participating in the Olympics and he won the gold medal with the U.S. on each of the three previous occasions. If the 14-time All-Star wins another one here, he’ll become the first male basketball player to win four gold medals.

For now, though, Durant is spending some time on the sidelines due to a calf strain. He won’t be taking part in Team USA’s exhibition game against Canada on Wednesday but should be able to get on the court when the group heads to Abu Dhabi next week.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely.
