Kevin Durant and Charles Barkley have been beefing for a while now, and even though they apparently made amends in the past, things changed after Barkley criticized Durant following the Golden State Warriors’ 2022 NBA championship.

The former player-turned-analyst said that KD wasn’t a bus driver, and when he had the keys to the car, couldn’t get the job done. Durant didn’t like those comments and blasted Barkley repeatedly, and now that the player has been traded to the Phoenix Suns, things haven’t changed between these two.

Chuck recently talked about the trade requests Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant submitted before the 2023 deadline, calling them out for wanting to leave their team after signing deals and not honoring them.

Kevin Durant And His Associate Brought Up Receipts Showing That Charles Barkley Wanted To Change Teams Twice In His Career

Of course, these words made the rounds around the NBA and Eddie Gonzalez, KD’s associate and co-host on his The ETC’s podcast, reacted to them. Gonzalez brought up the receipts, sharing a couple of articles talking about Barkley’s desire to leave the Philadelphia 76ers and then the Phoenix Suns.

KD reacted to this, laughing at his friend’s creativity but also at Chuck’s lack of coherence when discussing these topics. Durant had already talked about this last year, saying that Chuck also played for superteams during his career.

Now, things have taken another level, and KD is ready to let the world know that he’s not the first, and won’t be the last player wanting to change their situation if it’s not working for them anymore.

Coincidentally, Durant is now part of the Phoenix Suns, a team Chuck played for and is now supporting from the outside. Barkley even said that they aren’t strong enough to win the championship, as they need a deeper bench to face other West rivals.

This beef doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon, and just like Shaquille O’Neal going after Kyrie Irving, it seems like Chuck won’t stop criticizing every move Durant makes.
