In the league, just because one is a good player, that doesn’t mean that regular fans get hyped watching their game. Sometimes, there are players that simply awe fans with the way they play.

Recently, superstar Kevin Durant revealed that he often watches the highlights of Kyrie Irving and Michael Jordan and consistently gets hyped. Both of those players are fan favorites, and it is easy to see why Durant appreciates their ability on the court.

Michael Jordan’s combination of athleticism and skill was absolutely insane, especially in the 1990s. The way he moved so fluidly and gracefully, no matter what move he did, was special, and there’s a reason that many people consider him the best player in NBA history.

Meanwhile, Kyrie Irving is an elite ballhandler who is extremely proficient and going one-on-one and making tough shots. Fans love all of his moves, especially when he breaks a defender’s ankles.

For everyone, the player they love watching is different. However there is no doubt that Kyrie Irving and Michael Jordan are mesmerizing to watch, and their highlights often wow the eye.

Kevin Durant Loves Playing 1-On-1

Perhaps Kevin Durant’s love for Michael Jordan and Kyrie Irving stems not only from their talent but also from the fact that he really loves 1-on-1 basketball. In fact, DeMar DeRozan once revealed that Kevin Durant always wanted to play 1-on-1 during his time on Team USA.

“I used to sit there, watch all of them play 1-on-1. Them m*****f****** was hooping every time. [Kevin Durant] won’t stop, you got to walk off the court.”

There is no doubt that Kevin Durant consistently working on 1-on-1 ability has helped him excel in that area of the game. He is clearly one of the best isolation players in the league, and it takes a lot of time and effort to become the top-tier scorer that he has.

Kevin Durant has put up 26.0 PPG, 6.4 RPG, and 3.5 APG with the Phoenix Suns in the 2022-23 season. He is already one of the most accomplished players in the entire league, but it would be amazing for fans to watch him win another championship.
