Klay Thompson enjoyed a stellar return from his devastating injury issues this season, getting back into rhythm with a Warriors team that immediately went on to win their 4th NBA championship in the last decade. While Klay himself wasn’t at his best after a 2-year absence, he did enough to ensure the team reached the promised land.

And the Warriors star isn’t done winning titles just yet either, at least not according to him. With a full offseason for the first time since 2019 to look forward to, Klay is already training to prepare for next season. A clip of him working out and talking about how thrilled he is to be able to hone his craft once again recently went viral, and Golden State fans will love to see where his mind is at right now.

“You know how good it feels, to have a summer just to train? Are you kidding me? After 2 years. 2 and a half?! Come on!

“You know how good it feels to be back in this thing without having to rehab? Ahhh! And with 4 rings?!

“When the hate don’t work, they start telling lies. Not 4, we want 5.”

Despite playing less than half the regular season, Thompson averaged over 20 points and shot 38% on three-pointers. After a whole offseason of working on getting back into shape, Klay will be hoping he can get his mobility on defense back as well and get back to being the beast he was before his injuries.

Arguably, no other Warrior enjoyed the championship parade more than Klay. His antics on the day made that pretty clear. With Stephen Curry still in elite form and the Warriors fresh off the taste of an NBA title, it is understandable that Klay sees this as an opportunity for that core to add to their tally of rings.
