Klay Thompson is not alone anymore. The Golden State Warriors superstar has apparently found a partner for his boat rides.

Recently, the 3x NBA champion took Warriors rookie James Wiseman on a trip through the Bay area. As usual, Klay left a couple of curious quotes for fans. They can’t have enough of Klay, and Thompson is ready to deliver.

He’s taking James as some sort of protege, teaching him everything he needs to know about boats.

“I got the rook on the boat with me. He don’t know a damn thing, but I’m teaching him the ropes,” Klay said in a recent Instagram live.

NBA fans took this as a signal that Wiseman will remain with the Warriors for the future. The big man has been involved in rumors about his future; his name has been thrown in trade rumors around the league after a tumultuous first season with the Dubs.

Meanwhile, the former Memphis Tiger is ready to turn things around next season and prove his value with the squad.
