Kobe Bryant First Look In NBA 2K21 Next-Gen Is Amazing

2 Min Read

NBA 2K21 next-gen has a lot of things to prove to fans and so far they’re doing a good job. A couple of days ago, we saw new footage of the gameplay that showed the realism of the graphics and a few new more things. Next-gen is expected to be a revolution for the franchise and things have started relatively good for the 2K company.

In recent hours we had the chance to see Kobe Bryant’s first look in the next-gen version of the game and it’s fair to say it looks as clean as possible. Kobe, who tragically passed away earlier this year, has been the subject of plenty of homages. 2K21 isn’t the exception, putting Bryant as the cover athlete for 2K21’s Mamba Forever edition. Knowing how he looked in this version of the game was a big deal for fans and we finally have an answer.

Twitter account @2Kinsider shared the pic of Kobe in next-gen and it looks great. Some fans didn’t like what they saw, as usual, but most of them agreed that the developers did a great job with the face scan.

Somebody compared Kobe’s face in 2K14 to this next-gen and the differences are surprisingly big. Curiously, 2K14 was more realistic than the most recent avatar of Kobe in the video game. The improvement was huge that year.

Everybody is looking forward to playing with Kobe in this new version of the game, which will hit the stores at the start of November.
