His being a free agent in the coming offseason and seemingly having burned all bridges in Brooklyn means many teams can think of trading for the star point guard. His problems with the Nets are even more well-documented, and it’s safe to say that Kyrie has cost the franchise quite a bit. All three teams have valid issues with Irving.
History clearly shows that any franchise that touches Irving will have to be careful with how they handle him. But ultimately, Irving is averaging 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. As a short-term rental, he would be a no-brainer for many contending teams.
